Sean Zanderson, from Encinitas-San Diego County has an extra reason to celebrate, having won a top prize of $543, 579 following his birthday just 2 days before.

Zanderson, was at Vons Grocery, which is located at 453 Santa Fe Drive in Encinitas to buy some deodorant when he decided to spend $20 on five Fantasy 5 Quick Pick tickets. He was very lucky with one of these tickets, beating the odds and matching up all 5 numbers: 19, 23, 32, 35 and 36. Interestingly enough, he realized he was a winner during a dinner with his girlfriend, and friends. Zanderson stepped away from his company for a moment, to double check and came back announcing the good news to everyone, before buying a round of drinks.

He feels very optimistic about the year ahead now, turning 37 seems to be a great year! Plans for the future, involve using the winnings on a down payment for a house, alongside a vacation and a big night-out. This is the largest fantasy 5 prize won, since October last year worth $610,882 in Los Angeles.
