Ricky and Kathy Clark from Wichita, Kan., have hit it big as they matched the first five lottery winning numbers missing only the Powerball for Saturday's (Sept. 10) drawing. The parents of five can now celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary in style, buying a new family home to host their large family with seven grandchildren and taking a second honeymoon.
Ricky was at work when he heard the big news about a lottery winner from Kansas. Struggling to believe that he was the one winning the major prize, he called home to check the numbers. He was gobsmacked as his wife called him back with the breaking news.
The Kwik Shop located at 3601 E. 47th Street South, in Wichita that sold the winning ticket is due to receive a cash prize too.
