Denice Harvey, 58, from Manteca in California was facing the biggest drama of her life, alongsine her dear husband’s recent death, she was also facing the loss of her family house and their car. She loved having her children and grandchildrend there now and then. Being almost blind, she had lost every hope to ever recover them.

However, as they say, there is a silver lining in every cloud. On September 12th as she was checking her scratch-off tickets at the local Oakdale store, she was thunderstruck by the revelation that she won $785,000. It came with her other lottery ticket that she bought before the July 30 drawing. Having a visual impairment, Denice was unable to see the ticket clearly and assumed that she had won a dollar. Imagine her surprise to find that she won not even $785, but $785,000!

Now she plans to buy a little house with her winnings “You know, nothing fancy. All I care about is having a place for my children and grandchildren to come see me!" she said.
