Jose Gomez, 76 from Hanover Park has landed a top prize of $75,000 with the Illinois Lottery Crossword game. Gomez purchased the ticket at Army Trail Gas and Food, located at 2100 W. Army Trail Road in Addison. He stated, "I like this game because it's entertaining and it takes a while to play" when he brought the ticket to the Prize center in Des Plaines. In regards to the future, Gomez plans to invest in college education for his children, Christmas shopping, alongside taking his whole family on vacation at some point! The lottery retailer, will also receive a nice early Christmas gift of $750 from the Illinois Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
