Paul Geston, 71 from Fresno seems to have never-ending luck coming his way after scoring a $1,000,000 lottery prize just a number of years after having won $100,000. Geston says that playing the lottery is his favorite hobby, "I play all the time. When I win money, I put it right back in!". This is exactly what happened on January 2nd after he decided to use $150 of his previous winnings at the Get 'N' Go store, which is located at 5210 E. Tulare Avenue, Fresno to buy a variety of scratchers tickets. He had a feeling something big was going to happen after winning 3 reasonable sums of money on 3 scratchers tickets consecutively, with two prizes of $100 and one worth $500. With the $700 worth of winnings, he decided to purchase some more tickets, then discovering one ticket worth $1,000,000! "I didn't have my inhaler on me so I sort of like started gasping for air" Geston exclaimed. He took his ticket straight home, and signed the back of it immediately. The next day, after getting no sleep, he claimed his winnings at the Lottery's Central Valley District Office in Fresno. Now, with the $1,000,000, Geston is going to buy a new pick-up as well as remodeling his home. Are his days of playing the lottery now over? Certainly not, "Oh absolutely I'm going to keep at it! I'm doing my part for the schools" Geston says.
