A Darlington man, from South Carolina has won the lottery twice in just one day using a particular lottery strategy that he'd come up with! The Darlington resident has been playing the Palmetto Cash 5 drawing game for over 10 years now, and finally he's landed himself a prize worth $100,000, and another worth $200,000! His strategy involved playing the same five numbers: 6, 12, 16, 28 and 36 at two different lottery retailers, one being the Situ LLC which is located on South Main St., and the other being the EZ shop on Pearl street, just three miles away. He decided to check his tickets after hearing that two winning tickets were sold in Darlington on the local news, to discover both were his! The second ticket was worth more, as he'd opted for the "Power up" option of a multiplier of 2, doubling the $100,000 cash prize to $200,000. The winner stated: "This is life changing,", "I'm paying off my house, I'm debt free!". He vows to keep playing the lottery, as it’s a hobby that he'll always enjoy! The lottery retailer's will each receive a bonus for selling the winning ticket's, one of $1,000, and the other a $2,000 bonus for the retailer that sold the $200,000 ticket.
