Charles Leath, from Roseville was only looking to pick up some gas when this short-trip lead to him picking up a $5,000,000 lottery ticket too! Leath, had an appointment that he had to attend, however on the way he thought it would be a good idea to fill the car up as he knew he would be working later for a ride-sharing service and wanted to be prepared. The gas station that he stopped at was the Arco am/pm which is located at 2998 Foothill Boulevard, going inside to pay for the gas he saw a new Scratchers game which was the “Hit it Big ticket” and decided it was worth a shot. As he now realizes, the rest really turned to history as now he has so many more opportunities available at his disposal such as travelling. The owner of the store will also be receiving a $25,000 bonus for selling the winning lottery ticket. Everyone’s a winner when they partake in the game!
