Scott Williams, the owner of a barbershop in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis was left smiling after finding out he had won a $50,000 lottery prize with the Hoosier Lottery unexpectedly. Williams, told the story of how he was cutting the hair of one client when a customer called him to notify him that his lottery numbers of: 1-1-1-1 had come up in the last drawing, "Everyone knows I play" he explained and also outlined that he had been playing those same numbers for the past year after changing them from 1-4-0-1 which was based on the location of his barbershop. But he still didn't see this success coming, and is very happy with his new choice of numbers! With his background, he expressed that he took over the barbershop after it being passed down over 60 years through the family - it is his pride and joy as he acts as a therapist with customers and says it is likely that the prize money will be invested into improving the barbershop and possibly opening up a secondary business. Apart from Scott, there were 799 other tickets matching the same 1-1-1-1 numbers, who would have won $5,000 if they wagered $1 – whereas Scott wagered $10 landing him a significant amount more!
