Anissa Dellaripa, 22, from South Windsor in Connecticut has just started her graduation life with a $2,000 a month head-start after being gifted a lottery ticket by her Dad. Dellaripa was given the $1 Win for Life Ticket from the Connecticut Lottery and told to scratch it as her Dad handed it over, she explained that he regularly buys her lottery tickets but this time was a reward for all the work she’d put in. She scratched off the ticket, and saw the “WIN FOR LIFE” symbol, at first thinking her dad must have been pranking her because there’s no way it was real! But it was, and she was given the option of either receiving a lump sum of $400,000 or the $2,000 a month for life. For Anissa it was a very easy choice to go for the $2,000 a month because she is so young and said she doesn’t need all of that money at once, as it is more secure to have a guaranteed $2,000 a month – especially considering she has just received her Associate’s degree, and has plans to get a bachelor’s degree as well. A present for life, what a lucky woman!
