Montana Lottery:
Jack Barisich, 86, from Winnett, Montana has claimed the grand prize with the Montana Lottery after receiving it as a gift from one of the members of his family.
The ticket was bought at the pit stop in black eagle. The Barisich family explained of their family tradition, in which they have a Christmas tradition of exchanging lottery tickets when they all gather up together at this time of year. They use the tickets as “gifts” to each other and have one rule in this affair, if anybody does happen to win, the winner must split the winnings with whoever bought it for them. However they didn’t really expect this to ever happen!
They kept the ticket in a safe till they went to cash it in at the Montana Lottery headquarters to validate their win and claim the prize. They haven’t decided what to do with the money, as they are still in the process of taking it all in.
