Richard Wahl, 47 says that he believes it was all part of “God’s plan” when he found out he had won a Mega Millions prize worth $533,000,000! Wahl, who was employed as a production manager at a food service facility, decided to take his chances and purchase a lottery ticket after being convinced by a fellow employee who suggested they would be able to retire early – so he went on to purchase a Quick Pick ticket containing randomly selected numbers. Soon after, he realised that he was the winner of the largest prize in New Jersey ever won as well as the fourth highest Mega Millions prize overall, however Wahl took his time and it wasn’t until 2 weeks later that he came forward to claim the prize at the Lottery headquarters as a lump sum which will be worth $324,000,000 over the $533,000,000 had he received it over 29 years. 

A woman from Michigan, 56, who has opted to remain anonymous has revealed the fact that her lottery dream is what led her to winning a Fantasy 5 prize worth $221,202! She explained, how the night before – she literally had a dream of winning the jackpot with that game, which gave the motivation the very next day to drive up to her favourite lottery retailer to buy some lottery tickets. The numbers which she had chosen were: 4, 13, 14, 29 and 35 and matching these, landed her the money necessary for her to be able to invest into her business which is fragrance based - as well a purchasing a few more lottery tickets in hope of winning an even bigger prize! 

A couple, from Michigan who have opted to remain anonymous have found out that they have won a $2,000,000 lottery prize with the Michigan Lottery after almost throwing the whole ticket away! The ticket, was purchased by the husband from Kassa’s Market which is located in Harrison Township as a birthday present for his wife, in hope that she might win something. During this trip, he and his driving partner decided to stop off for some coffee in Castiac and on the way they also went to the Pilot Travel Centre which is located at 31642 on Castiac Road – whilst here, Castro opted to purchase a California Lottery Scratchers ticket as he was feeling lucky that day, so he chose a few Mystery Crossword Scratchers. Getting back into the truck, he was in the middle of scratching the second ticket when he realized that he’d landed some big money!

A man from Lincoln County - in Kansas has luckily been able to get his $1,000,000 lottery prize back after a clerk at a gas station went out of his way to get the ticket back to its original owner. The winner, who has opted to remain anonymous explained how he was in a rush on his way to watch a NCAA tournament when him and his brother chose to stop for gas at a station located in Salina. “My brother went in to check my tickets. He apparently dropped the unsigned Mega Millions ticket, and then we left to go back home”. What a close call these set of events were, lucky for the winner – the clerk immediately called up the store owner as soon as he’d realized what had happened to check if they would be able to locate the winner and return the ticket to him. The store owner sent his son in, who aided them in travelling to find the winner – and conveniently, the winner and his brother were out on another errand when the owner’s son got them to pull over. The retailer will also be receiving a $1,000 financial incentive just for selling the winning ticket!

William Woolsey, from Kane in Illinois has found out that he is the sole winner of a $550,000 Lottery prize out of the blue! Woolsey, purchased his Quick Pick Illinois Lottery ticket from Circle K, which is located on 13 S. Stanley Road in Cottage Hills and soon found out that the Lucky Day Lotto ticket matched up all 5 numbers, which were: 8, 11, 18, 24 and 31. A great win for Woolsey, who has now made plans to purchase a home as well as investing the rest. The retailer will also receive a $5,500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
