A Santa Rosa (CA) man came back from his lunch break as a multi-millionaire. 57-year old Keith Johnson works in the wine business. At lunchtime, he stopped at Sam's Market in Santa Rosa to get a sandwich.
Johnson also purchased a $20 Scratchers lottery ticket. As he returned to work, he was shocked to find out that he won $5 million lottery prize (before taxes).
"I kept [the ticket] in my lunchbox," Johnson said. "It seemed fine, as long as nobody knew I had it. It was always near."

An 80-year-old Mt. Vernon man won $6.3 million on March 23 after getting all six of winning numbers right on a free lottery ticket from an earlier drawing— and he almost left it at the store.
Robert McCauley explained Lottery officials that he brought his Megabucks lottery ticket to the local Mini Mart, called Blue Mountain, where the store manager, Jolene Moulton, said that he had won a free lottery ticket. Moulton added that McCauley almost left his free ticket at the store.

A Missouri resident who won $50,000 back in 2002 came back to the lottery officials 18 years later to collect a whopping $3 million lottery jackpot.
Anne Kasal explained to the Missouri Lottery officials that she purchased her Lotto ticket for the March 11 drawing at the local Schnucks Market at 5055 Arsenal St. in St. Louis.
